Award

The APZES Award is a recognition given to individuals or organizations that have significantly contributed to promoting practical zero emissions and sustainability in the Australasian region. The award is intended to honour those who have demonstrated leadership and innovation in the field and who have positively impacted the environment and communities.

To be eligible for the APZES Award, individuals and organizations must:

  1. be a membership for at least 2 years and nominated by two co-members of APZES or by the board of directors.
  2. demonstrate a track record of achievement in the promotion of practical zero emissions and sustainability; and
  3. have made a significant and lasting impact in the field, either through their work or through their support of APZES and its mission.

Categories

There are 5 different categories of the APZES awards:

  • Category #1: Fellow Awards; 
  • Category #2:  Outstanding Research Awards (young/middle/senior-career); 
  • Category #3: Contribution to APZES Awards; 
  • Category #4: Distinguished corporate membership Awards; 
  • Category #5: Others.
